https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rasputitsa

Rasputitsa seasons of Russia are well known as a great defensive advantage in wartime.[2][3] Common nicknames include General Mud and Marshal Mud. A spring thaw probably saved Novgorod from conquest and sacking during the 13th-century Mongol invasion.[4] During the French invasion of Russia in 1812, Napoleon found the mud a great hindrance.[2][3]

It's a key part of their history, as you point out. If Putin doesn't know this, how smart can he be, really?

Inspiring stories, all.

I keep hoping this horrific and inspiring drama will wake up even just 2% of the American populace to the significance of the rethugs’ actions on voting, taxing, civil rights, etc.

who said he gets reliable information from people in Estonia I believe. Anyway, he says that Russians are abandoning a lot of equipment and Ukraine is using it. This is visual proof I guess?

He also said that Russia is not close to surrounding Kyiv.
