This is also about siphoning off Ukrainians into Russia where they can be relocated.

This could also be about literally trying to drive the majority of Ukrainians out of the country so Russia can back fill with Russian nationals.

Managed diaspora, destroy the current culture, ala the US treatment of Native tribes.

Zelensky knows that they can’t be members right away and it will take years. It’s an easy give on his part

The question is: did he say he would never become a member of NATO?

Realistically, they would have been one by now if Putin didn’t install his puppet that stalled the process years ago
