With close to 20% of likely voters having mailed their ballots, my campaign has been driving Democrats to vote in greater numbers than Repubs at this point. I'm knocking on 100 doors a day now, and Independents and Non-affiliated voters are voting for me by about 60% when I can meet them directly. Our campaign is out of money, but Steve Novick, the great Portland city councilor and former US Senate candidate, is coming in for a fundraiser on Tuesday and I hope for a couple of thousand from that, which will let us get our TV spot back on the cable channels.

I've asked DUers for support in the past, and 3 or 4 folks have helped out. I'm asking again for you to go to my website and contribute with your credit card. (PM me if you want more info or personal assurance.) Just a little bit from lots of you will do much to turn the Oregon State House blue again!
