When Right-wingers say Freedom and Liberty, I think they mean Privilege.

I've determined this from my friend who was constantly spouting freedom until I mentioned the abortion rights. He just didn't care for those.
He only thought of those "freedoms" that he wanted.

...the real complaint is usually that he can't be a tyrant in whatever he considers his rightful domain.

Labor law, domestic abuse law, business regulation, anything that crimps his ability to be Lord and Master. Even if he doesn't usually act like a tyrant, he damn well insists that he have the right to be one, and don't you say otherwise!.

If ever right-wingers were ever in doubt of the guarantees of democracy, they need only to look at Russia, especially now and see how people are swept off the street and into prison for daring to voice a political opinion. Such a reality magnifies the obscenity of Americans who scream about their rights being violated when required to wear masks in privately-owned businesses or required vaccines to work in particular businesses. They shit all over freedom of others and blame the left that they have no rights.

It is the sense of privilege that the fright wingers are afraid of losing. The treatment of minorities has been seen as proof of their privilege and they see the writing on the wall. They are afraid of being seen as normal people.
