Dictators, Oligarchs, and International Criminals vs. the Civilized World
Money and power motivates the criminal world. The manner in which they attain money is of little significance to them.
We have always had greedy capitalists looking to make more money. That is the way of the world.
When the Soviet Union fell, the greedy criminals took over Russia. They gained power and they spread their tentacles around the world. Vladimir Putin was at the top of the list. He had numerous oligarchs that worked with him and for him. He became one of the wealthiest men in the world.
They embraced politicians and state governments in the established democracies. They found like-minded criminals to launder their ill-gotten gains, through yachts and golf courses and real estate.
Eventually, they over-threw the democratic governments and set up their own figure-heads. They infiltrated political Parties and bought their allegiance with political donations. The corruption spread like a pandemic around the world.
America was not exempt. It too, had its democracy threatened. The money and corruption found its way into national political Parties. The dictators and oligarchs became more powerful than government institutions.
They were ready to kill for it.
