Putin and Trump, a dangerous mixture of greed and ego.

Alone, they could be contained.

Together, they were a powerful and disastrous combination.

Much like Mussolini and Hitler before the last World War, they massaged each others ego. They made each other feel invincible.

But we know what happened with that partnership. It did not end well.

However, before it ended, it had caused great pain and suffering around the world.

We cannot assume that we are near the end of this partnership. We do not know what Herr Trump will do if given the free rein? We do not know what Herr Putin will do if he is not stopped in Ukraine?

In my opinion, there is a lesson to be learned from history. Whether or not we learn it is up to us.

Course we see that way but the right-wing crowd of which I’m sure they have more than a few in Russia, see it the opposite. Unfortunately 73 million voted for the orange lunatic the last go round. Maybe after watching what Putin is pulling over in Russia now, some of the Republican voters will start to rethink the fact of supporting somebody who has the potential to operate like him. One can only hope.
