We have a decent sized Ukrainian and Russian population just a county over.( A few hundred in a town of 20,000 is a big deal.) The Ukrainian and Russians live near each other because of shared language and culture.

Anyway, you'll hear the local Trumplicans make cracks about supposed poor English, poor education, poor hygiene and awful food. They also claim they're running small businesses out of business by running their own bakeries, markets, auto shops and handyman/small engine repair.

If you don't speak perfect English in an accent they approve? Not wanted.

it will be in the direction of some kind of New World Order of peace, prosperity and cooperation among all the peoples of the world (aka the fundamentalists' and nationalists' absolute worst nightmare, and it would probably have to embrace socialism too...)--you know, rather than toward WWIII and global annihilation.

And the lowest number in favor of something has to do with admitting more Ukrainian refugees. Who are the selfish, vile people who have completely forgotten who we are as Americans? That 31% of this country wants to restrict people from coming here tells us just how many stupid bigots and selfish pigs we have.

They've chained themselves to a dropping anchor, and the depth and breadth of the arrangements they made with Russians, governmental and otherwise, will soon be revealed.

Their gyrations in aid of obscuring these ties must be made to count against them, too.

I am not in favor of ANY war.
“WAR is a racket. It always has been.
It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.”

Or is it just US wars you oppose? Of course, the US has not entered into war against Russia. It has imposed sanctions designed to avoid war, yet somehow you oppose them.

Aside from Fucker, MTG, Cawthorn, Mitch, Bannon, Flynn, Orange family, Cotten, NRA, Fox News et al, I think we're pretty much in agreement. Russian sympathy will be a very scarce commodity. May those mentioned (and I know I missed a bunch) rot in hell along with Putin. And I recognize that many, if not most Russians would want NONE of this, but they don't know WTF is happening in their name.
