. . . . that the Mar-A-Lago Moron actually thought he could pressure him to do what he and Putin wanted with respect to Biden and his son.

Putin's only interest was in getting Trump to withhold the aid.
Ukraine was the entire reason that Putin installed Trump. That's what connects all the dots.
Putin gets Manafort to get chummy with Trump. Manafort had previously installed a Putin puppet in Ukraine.
Putin gets Trump/Manafort to modify the GOP platform and remove Ukraine aid from it.
Putin gets Trump elected.
Putin gets Trump to attack NATO for four years.
Putin gets Trump to blackmail Zelenskyy and withhold aid.
Putin gets the GOP to acquit Trump after blackmailing Zelenskyy.
Putin gets everything he wants from Trump and the GOP.
Right up to the day Joseph Robinette Biden takes over.

A hard old world for him indeed. I hope this will ultimately prove to be his undoing, although its tragic that so many have to suffer and die in the process.

(32,634 posts)He had only been inaugurated about a month before June 2019, when Rudy went over there and tried to pump him for kompromat on Hunter Biden. To me the question is, who authorized Rudy to speak for the US government? He was never a diplomat and he didn't work for our government. He was just free lancin' and pretended to be Chump's "lawyer." Except he was never paid by Chump, so he wasn't even that.
For a private citizen to go to a foreign country, pretending to represent the US government and making unauthorized deals on behalf of the government, it's a FELONY! Why isn't Rudy in prison?
