Hundreds feared buried under rubble after Russian bomb destroys Mariupol theater

Multiple reports that Russian forces dropped a bomb on Mariupol drama theatre where (at least until yesterday) hundreds of people were taking refuge. If confirmed refugees were still inside, this would be potentially the worst civilian harm incident and an undisputable war crime.

3. If any serious negotiations take place (and I don't expect any)

I would urge the Ukrainian side to open by showing the Russian side some graphic photos from the scene, and ask them why in the world anyone should want to negotiate with people who deliberately did this to frightened, unarmed civilians hiding out from the hostilities. As soon as the Russian side offers a rational response (the only one is "admittedly, we can offer no reason at all" ), THEN negotiations can start in earnest.

I'm just speechless. I almost don't even know what questions to ask, don't know where to start to effectively fight this.

We fly from Frankfurt to San Francisco, change planes, and then fly on to Kona. On the way back, we stop in either L.A. or SFO, and then nonstop back to Germany.

It’ll be exhausting, but we won’t do it again for the next forty years. I have a LOT of work before then. I have to be in Spain all day today, and then fly back to Düsseldorf tonight. I turn 70 tomorrow. We have about 25 family and friends coming in from 3 countries with food from about 5 countries! I can’t be late for THAT, can I?
