How to post a full graphic from Twitter...

Here are the steps...

Open the image in a background file aka a new tab.

Open the drop down menu for the new tab.

Select share.

Copy website address, aka the url.

Paste (share) the url to the new location.

Edit the url up to and including the question mark.

Add a period and "jpg" (.jpg) to the end of the edited url and...voila, you have a new postable graphic. Ta Da !!

srsly. That's a common argument from the right. They think they are the good guys today because of Lincoln. And Democrats are the racists.

Once upon a time, we thought there wouldn't be anybody worse than Nixon.

And then reagan happened. I was one who wondered if it'd get worse than that. Then the bushes happened, but they weren't nearly as objectionable as what came next from that sordid side of the aisle: a bottle-blond orange-skinned plague on legs.

They'll probably be like a cross between the Tiki-torch screamers and the gang from Clockwork Orange: total psychopaths.

Or they may come to their senses, and re-learn proper politics.

We can only hope.

Georgie and Dim became brutal, corrupt police officers, so that's a wash.

Pete left the gang, got a job, got married, and became a father.

Alex, the worst of them, determined to give up ultraviolence, sought a new life away from the gangs.

(This is all from the unedited British edition of the original novel, so anyone who only knows ACO from the movie, it may not be familiar.)

And you are right.

A lot of these up-and-coming Republicans follow the Laura Ingraham model: incorrigible sociopaths, whose sole goal in life is to stay the same - but make it big.

There was a certain duality in the droogs we simply don't see in these young Repugs.

No - I must have read here on DU somewhere.

I called him Orange Amin for a while, which isn't nearly as witty (as in 'like Idi Amin - but orange').

...afterwards.

Modern Democrats owe much to FDRs wife for abandoning racism.

What is sad is that Modern Republicans are as racist as Democrats were in the 1850s and 1860s. They are, in fact, much as the Democrats in the 1860s were, traitors to their country.
