Theater in Mariupol bombed by the Russians had 'CHILDREN' written in block letters outside

Mariupol’s local council released images of the ruins of the building on the Telegram messenger service, saying Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s troops had “purposefully and cynically destroyed the Drama Theatre in the heart of Mariupol”.

“The plane dropped a bomb on a building where hundreds of peaceful Mariupol residents were hiding,” it said.

Satellite imagery from Monday showed the word “children” written in large white letters in Russian in front of and behind the building, the Maxar space technology company said.

“Another horrendous war crime in Mariupol,” Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on Twitter, calling the bombing a “massive Russian attack”
