So I'm in bed with the wife and watching Bill Maher and he is interviewing a guy that deals with statistics, and asks him what the chance is the Obama would lose the popular vote but win the electoral. The guy responds slim, he will win both more than likely.
So is it wrong that I think the tears of the right would taste delicious if Obama lost the popular but still wins the election?

(13,608 posts)still President and he's still black!" Even though they brainwashed enough morans to win the popular vote. That and reminding them that Gore won the popular vote and we were stuck with Bush.
I hope that doesn't happen though. I hope he wins both handily along with gains in Congress. He really needs to win the popular by a little bit anyway. You can't expect the right to be good sports about it like we were when Gore lost. It would add even more legitimacy to their obstruction tactics.
Your probably right. While it would it initially would be funny as hell to listen to them cry at first, it would end up as fun locked in a closet with three colicky babies.
Besides Obama is my president now and still will be time next year.
