"Well I like soldiers who were captured, tortured, and lived to tell about it"

Stopped in the VFW last night wearing my "USS John S. McCain, Big Bad John" T-shirt. One guy asked what
was on my T-shirt, so I stood up and straightened it out so everyone could read it.

That's when the magaloon said something negative about our late Senator (who I've always admired even though
he was a republican) and I shot back with "Well I like soldiers who were captured, tortured, and lived to tell about it
and then made something out of his life". Oh boy did it get real quiet real fast.

For just such a reason. I don't want to be sharing breathing oxygen with people whose brains aren't making optimal use of it.

I didn’t like his politics but no one should ever question his patriotism. He served with honor and courage.

They were embarrassed their hero ever said that. Plus I never had to mention his name.

which is true - he really did -- that should of ended his career.

But the Republicans supported him. Not a one of them emitted as much as a peep. They must have agreed with him. Not a frikken peep to defend our troops.

The Republicans let their undisputed "moral leader" and the "role model for children" call our soldiers "suckers" and "losers." And the Republicans kept his gourmet golfing ass as their unfit "commander in chief."

shame. shame. shame on the Republicans and their draft-dodging leader who insults our troops, and kisses Putin's butt. Shame.

DELRAY BEACH, FLa. (AP) — A new report details multiple instances of President Donald Trump making disparaging remarks about members of the U.S. military who have been captured or killed, including referring to the American war dead at the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in France in 2018 as “losers” and “suckers.”...

Wish there was a tactful way to tie all Rs to being unappreciative of our service members because
of their support for IQ4.5

But he did. It's a fact. And the Repubs were all fine with with that heinous put down of our US Armed Forces. But I am not ok with it, especially coming from a frigging five-time Republican draft dodger.
