MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell accused Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold of murder in the Wednesday installment of his online show "LindellTV."
When his co-host questioned his claim, Lindell said that his accusation was "just an analogy."
Since the 2020 presidential elections, Lindell, a longtime supporter of former President Donald Trump, has used his public platform to accuse various election officials of wrongdoing. His election claims have not only failed to materialize substantial evidence, but they've also made him the target of a $1.3 billion defamation lawsuit.
In a Wednesday broadcast of his online show, Lindell discussed Griswold's alleged treatment of Sherronna Bishop, a woman whose house was searched by county, state and FBI officials in November 2021 in connection with an election security investigation.

Sounds like he's back on crack.

(608 posts)Like have they not realized that this 'evidence' he wants to present to the supreme court is all a fever dream?

(69,398 posts)So the funding will continue.
Who benefits?

(608 posts)From clips I've been seeing, he's begging more and more for money. I just feel for his employees, he's driving his business into the ground tilting at these windmills.

Yes the funding sources will dry up when he doesn't serve their purpose any longer.

(72,546 posts)$27 million in equity, $125 million in debt.
Even when he's gone, nobody is taking over the company & assuming all that debt. A buyer would be unlikely to buy up equity for more than 10¢ on the dollar. Especially given the huge revenue decline.
It's also a poorly run company. 1,500 employees for $152 million in sales? $100k per FTE?
By contrast, Walmart has 740,000 full-time workers and $570 billion in revenue. $750,000 per FTE.
The company from which I retired had $4.2 billion in revenue, and 2,200 employees worldwide. Almost $2 million per FTE.
The inheritance (what really exists) isn't going to cover these costs. Someone else was throwing money at the crazy frontman circus.

(72,546 posts)First, he never had that kind of money.
$30 million tops, with $25 million of that in his pathetic company. He had a max of $5 million in somewhat liquid assets. His crazy train has cost way more that $5 million.
But, the begging for money, the martyrdom in the new commercials to sell DEEPLY discounted merch, and the fizzling of his media platform suggests whoever was behind the money is closing the valve.

(11,767 posts)I go with the latter. The guy is obviously actively using, or his brain is addled by chronic use.
My dad had a basketball buddy who used cocaine. We always knew when he was back on. His eyes would get a certain way and his stories would be wild. Crazy eyes, crazy stories, back to rehab...

(104,728 posts)His crappy pillows have been pulled from nearly every major retailer. I can't imagine he's selling well otherwise. Time to find out who's funding him, that seems like a fact worth knowing!
