The UK is at $8.05, France is $8.23, and Italy is clocking $9.08 a gallon. Venture north and the prices go even higher.
...
If you think $4.30 per gallon in the United States is bad, try paying $11 in Hong Kong.

US truckers as well as public have been so spoiled for ever.

The whole pandemic has shown at at least half of the US
are spoiled elitests that can not accept anything for the good of anyone else.

Yes, other countries that cannot produce their own oil pay more. But that doesn't change the fact that the oil and gas corporate welfare cheats are gouging American customers.

Well, no, not really. Colbert is wealthy, so his life doesn't have to change one little tiny bit to accommodate the increase.

Energy is the #1 sector to hedge against inflation that the #1 sector is creating. Both crypto and energy stocks are engines of their own inflation!

... got up to $3.89 for 87 octane regular; as I mentioned, it has started going down a bit. Diesel is back down to $4.54. When I had reported it last week on my GasBuddy app, when the price was $4.69, the GasBuddy app gave me a pop up: "That price seem out of whack, are you sure it is correct?"

That’s how we built an unsustainable world of pavement, white flight and alienation, and externalized the costs onto our only home, the earth.

If you’re still posting about how sad it is for you to pay “high prices” for your comfort and convenience, I believe you need to think harder about this.
