The National Republican Senatorial Committee chair wants his party to increase taxes for more than 100 million Americans.
Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) claimed on Friday that he stands by his proposal to raise taxes on most Americans and to have Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid expire and be subject to renewal every five years. Moments later he called himself a guy fighting "for lower taxes every year" and complained that Congress isn't doing enough to preserve those entitlement programs.
In an interview, Scott, the chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, was asked by host Bob Harden about the response to the 11-point "Rescue America" proposal he released in late February.
Scott noted that some in his party have opposed being candid with the voters about what they would do if they win a majority in the 2022 midterm elections, but that he is proud to stand by his proposals:

We'll Scott, would you like to go to prison for your companies crime of bilking Medicare to the tune of 1.5 billion and then another 300+ million your company got from the same senior citizens you ripped off, and second how much did you pay in taxes for ripping off the same senior citizens, can we see your fucking tax returns from then thru now when you knowingly were law breaking crime spree you were involved in......your ilk have been trying to take down both of these programs since there inception.....without these programs.......the senior population would be homeless and destitute with medical bills......someone need's to put a billboards up in Florida .....on this POS ....you need to raise taxes on the elites and the corporations that don't pay shit now.........

(24,632 posts)I still pay taxes on my Medicare like paying for my coverage.....that is like a tax, I have 10% taken out every month that is a tax, where in the hell does he think that people don't pay taxes, and then he wants to sunset the programs......,he shouldn't be in office , let alone with spouting this BS, and thirdly how much did the Koch's and Peter Theil pay in taxes, how about Ginny Thomas, Donald Trump.... Wells Fargo, Amazon Jeff Bezos.......we need billboards up in Florida / Arizona . Palm Springs and if the seniors think that this is what they want ...to have there social society and Medicare "sunset"......then someone needs to ask the young and elderly then what do you do....work until you die.....
