Unfortunately, a lot of voters can't see beyond $4 gas prices or inflation in general. If the Ukraine thing and inflation doesn't turn around before November, we're in trouble.

Despite Trump's big win among the unvaccinated, Biden would still beat him by about four points among all voters, the poll found. Forty-one percent of all voters said they'd back Biden, while 37 percent said they'd vote for the former president.

Only 4 points overall, with tons undecided...

So imagine my surprise that the cult leader who TOLD them not to get vaccinated leads in a poll of cult members. Shocking! This is what passes for news these days?

... the white evangelical Christians.

Trump won their votes by a margin of 80% to 16% in 2016, and they comprised 26% of all voters per the CNN exit poll.

Hillary would've even won the "white vote" by a sizable margin if none of them had voted.

EDIT: Trump did the best (according to other polls) among people with right-wing authoritarianism personality, but there's a lot of overlap for them and self-identified white evangelicals anyway.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right-wing_authoritarianism

Bob Altemeyer, the Canadian-American social psychologist who first coined the term and its meaning in 1981, defined the right-wing authoritarian personality as someone who exhibits:

1. a high degree of submission to the authorities who are perceived to be established and legitimate in the society in which one lives.
2. a general aggressiveness, directed against various persons, that is perceived to be sanctioned by established authorities.
3. a high degree of adherence to the social conventions that are perceived to be endorsed by society and its established authorities.
