Symbols of hatred have become far too common in American public life, whether it’s white hoods and swastikas on the right or Ukrainian flags and KN95 masks on the left.

Love the pitch bot! Nt Fiendish Thingy Mar 2022 #1
Ukrainian flags and K95 masks are symbols of hatred? I don't think so. SharonAnn Mar 2022 #2
I'm having a hard time trying to figure that one out, too. nt Buns_of_Fire Mar 2022 #4

It's a satire account that targets the bothersiderism and general terribleness of the NYT blogslug Mar 2022 #6
But see? Both sides are doing it, that's the point FakeNoose Mar 2022 #11
I think the site is satiric? Nictuku Mar 2022 #20
How are Ukrainian flags and KN95 masks symbols of hate? White hoods and swastikas, yes. CurtEastPoint Mar 2022 #3
The tweet is satirizing the bothsiderisms of the NYT. Ocelot II Mar 2022 #14

I thought it was pretty obvious. Ocelot II Mar 2022 #19
Ditto. And no, it was not 'obvious.' CurtEastPoint Mar 2022 #21
IRONY ALERT - the pitchbot specializes in horrifyingly plausible false equivalencies of NYTimes' ilk FreepFryer Mar 2022 #5
Okay, *that* I'll buy. (My sarcasm/irony meter has become badly uncalibrated.) nt Buns_of_Fire Mar 2022 #7
The False Equivalency is astounding here. BlueGreenLady Mar 2022 #8

No of course it's not "both sides are doing it." It's the Repukes/conservatives getting to have it both ways whenever NYT push out their sleazy RW-slanted editorials.

It uses a bot to compare left to right in headlines to show how ridiculous "whataboutism" is.

Correct me if I'm wrong? That is my gleaning of it.

Comparing Republican symbols of White Nationalist bigotry and Nazi anti-Semitic hatred to Democratic symbols for public health safety measures and support of a country suffering invasion and genocide is beyond belief. Both Sides Don't.
This is like comparing apples to ballistic missiles. Both can be launched but they have extremely different motives and consequences.

As I am not familiar with the NYTimes Pitchbot I did not realize that it was an attempt to be humorous.
I almost alerted on it, but thought it should stand as a great example of both-siderism.

"Gas prices are going down - how this is a reflection of Biden's failure to understand modern American Business..."

Unfortunately, real NYT editorials are too often more ridiculous than Pitchbot.
