i just know that connection is going to buzz w energy.

Been to SF, Boston, Philly, DC, Atlanta, LA, Denver.
Seattle's on my list but that's probably not happening.
Though it hadn't occured to me to go by bus (the cheapest at least one way [well, after gas goes down more]). I've traveled across the US by bus. Then see if train is cheaper than flying. 🤔 Not the best flyer - anxiety!
It sounds like such a great place to visit (not in Summer so much, or definitely not Winter, though): culture, food, architecture, history! Even geography wise. Manhattan, The Bronx are are surrounded by rivers, sounds, bays. Where in the "reverse" Chicago "surrounds" a bit of Lake Michigan.
Yes, I've heard of the cow-lantern-barn legand. I'd forgotten how big it was! 😮
As a 2nd gen half Ukrainian-American I'll definitely have to go and have pierogis, and grilled kielbasa! Yummm! 😄
NYC has the largest Ukrainian-American population.
One of my food traditions is to visit a city's Chinatown for dim sum.

summers are good. gets hot sometimes but the lake is always cool. lots to do then.
and yeah, it wasnt a cow, it was a meteor. but still, it was a challenge and a gift.
