“Johnston said that [committee]…investigators were specifically focused on whether Meadows knew about plans to have a march on the Capitol. This questioning left Johnston with impression other witnesses testified” Meadows involved in plans to have Jan. 6 crowds march to Capitol.

“‘I don’t think I’m the only one that’s told them that he knew about the march,’ Johnston says of Meadows.
‘Mark Meadows and Katrina Pierson,’ Johnston says of the investigators, ‘that’s the two they’re going after.’”

or a big reveal) - when Trump himself publicly proclaimed he was going to the Capital with his supporters. The question is - was Meadows on a call that discussed beating up police officers and breaking IN to the Capital (and perhaps kidnapping or harming legislative figures)?

Donald Trump, Jan 6th, Ellipse speech - "Now it is up to Congress to confront this egregious assault on our democracy. And after this, we’re going to walk down, and I’ll be there with you. … We are going to the Capitol, and we are going to try and give — the Democrats are hopeless, they are never voting for anything, not even one vote, but we are going to try — give our Republicans, the weak ones, because the strong ones don’t need any of our help, we’re try — going to try and give them the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country.”

Unless they can show he was part of the plan to actually enter the building, I don't think there is anything incriminating here.

Advocating criminal activity is illegal. Incitement to violence is illegal. Some people are absolutely convinced that DJT engaged in these activities (and I don't attempt to argue the contrary). But those are the things that have to be positively demonstrated (proved) against Meadows, and by extension Trump, in order to raise this to the level of criminal activity or a criminal case.

Dithering around about a phone call that 'discussed' a march - is about a mile short. Dithering around about Ginni Thomas attending the speech(es) at the Ellipse - same thing. Hopefully the Jan 6 committee has a good deal more than this, because ...

talking about marching is not a criminal act or plan.

if they talked about plans depicting planning outwhat actually happened AFTER the march, that would have been an interesting and perhaps informative report, imo.
