Get your requests in (Sometimes we forget how successful the DU really is)

Over the years the DU has raised OVER 2.8 MILLION dollars for Dems. The average donation was $109.80! My Actblue header (I see this when I log in) is below.

I'm getting older. It has been several years since I told you all about my FTD diagnosis. I'm not the DUer I was back then by any means. I took me twice as long to start the Ukraine page because I was forgetting a certain step. DUH.

I doubt I will be creating any US House fundraising links at ActBlue. There are just so many of them up every two years. But a really close important race, who knows.

I will be staying out of primary fights between Democrats. I screwed up in Iowa and did that in the Senate race. Sorry.

Over the next week I hope to create links for both Rev. Warnack and Beto.

I don't want to create a link that goes unused. So requests for certain candidates is a must on your part.

This may be the last round of links I make. Time to post your requests here and see what response your candidate gets.

Regards,

OS

I live in FL so naturally am disgusted with all the politicians here. Val Demings is running against that moron Marco Rubio; would so love to see her oust him, so that's my two cents.

Also, DeSantis is up for reelection in November. I don't know how we oust him but wish there were smarter people in this state.

Again, many thanks!

I agree Val Demings could use our support. What about Charlie Crist who is challenging DeathSantis? He certainly has the name recognition in this state. I would love to see a full-court press supporting Crist.

Big K&R for this thread and a world of thanks to Omaha Steve!!!

Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried to beat DeSantis though, given how crooked FL is, I don't know how possible that is.
All the Dems need to get on it now and drown out the rethugs!

But there is a fund we could contribute to. It goes to the eventual winner of the primary.

We should maybe consider a few key ones and combine them in order to contribute.

I mean that sincerely. You've done so much to make DU a wonderful group.

I wasn't aware of your FTD diagnosis, but I'm very sorry to hear about this. I too come from a family of FTD victims. As the oldest of 9 children (almost all baby-boomer generation) I'm sad to say that 5 of my siblings have been diagnosed with FTD. It's a life-changing event to receive this diagnosis and to know that the gene came from one of your 2 biological parents. In most cases neither parent knew about this genetic trail because the research is all happening now in the last 20 years or so. Before that nobody knew, or most of us didn't. In my family, 4 of my younger sisters and one brother are dealing with different stages of the effects of FTD. The gene came from our mother who died young without showing symptoms of dementia, and years later it came as a surprise to us. I'm sorry you're going through this, and I'm amazed at how much you've accomplished on DU. We should all be grateful for your efforts.

A big thank you - and good luck to you, my friend!
