My church still encourages the wearing of masks and keep a supply at the door to the sancturary and the childrens classrooms on Sunday. No one says anything when I am at the grocery store or pharmacy.

So far haven't run into any mask jerks. I live in bright red Trump County in southern Oregon. No change in folks opening doors for each other, chatting and wishing each other well. I am definitely in the minority as far as masking, and have been all along. Now though, it's me and maybe 10 others masked in a whole grocery store. People are still polite and yesterday, one gentleman offered to load my groceries for me. I declined, because physically, I was having a good day, but told him how much I appreciated his offer. Hopefully he'd be there on my next bad day. We both laughed and went on our way.

So far, have had zero negative responses to my masking.

Occasionally I wear eye make-up since they are still visible. Works better with the cloth "dress" masks, that I used to wear. Not as well with plain white N95s and I've got too many of them to buy colored ones now.

15. Had my check up a couple weeks ago

My doc said we can feel free to take our masks off if we want...I admit I slacked off a tad. I am now in bed n have been for 2 days as I came down with some crud. Got saline spray n Vick’s rubbed all over my throat but I’ll be fine. Haven’t had a sniffle in over two years so I’m now gonna do it my way and wear my mask.. Always trust yourself.

I really needed a chuckle. Gives me some ammo for my masking retorts. I always carry extra masks with me and used to approach the unmasked as unprepared and not necessarily antimaskers. Most people actually accepted my offers of a free mask but of course others just rolled their eyes.

I'm going to keep carrying my extra mask stash but this time it will be to use this example as a way to deal with those eye rollers. I'll still offer to share my extras too, of course, just in case. I'm also going to be a masker until further notice.

"you don't have to wear a mask now, the mandates lifted" I just tell them I don't wear a mask because someone told me to I wear one because I choose to.
