2. Snowden questions veracity of reports about 'invasion' of Ukraine

Former U.S. spy agency contractor Edward Snowden on Tuesday doubted the veracity of reports of Russia's alleged "invasion" of Ukraine and suggested that statements without evidence could provoke an escalation of the crisis.

"So... if nobody shows up for the invasion Biden scheduled for tomorrow morning at 3 a.m., I'm not saying your journalistic credibility was instrumentalized as part of one of those disinformation campaigns you like to write about, but you should at least consider the possibility" ...

And after that, he decided to be quiet for a while

Radio silence from him since he had his ass handed to him for being an idiot and doubling down on Russia not invading and how it was a false narrative by the big, bad US.

Thanks for the reminder I need to go dunk on his lame ass again.

He's hiding in a very safe place plotting his next move to redeem himself. Sadly his bestie Putin is making it really hard for him to clear his name right this moment.

I once heard the insult "you're up your own ass" and it seemed a bit odd to me...right until I read that tweet.

A more dignified approach might be to admit he was mistaken and say he's going to do some reading and learn and reflect. Wait. Do his Russian handlers allow him to read?

Just watched two Netflix shows about narcissistic frauds wanting fame and he's the same type.

He twisted himself all up into a series of knots to achieve the level of fame he thought he deserved.

Now he's living life under Putin's new censorship laws useless to Putin unless he's being paraded about as a famous anti-American former American, who is being housed at Putin's leisure.

The price of fame in his case is quite possibly just beginning to register to his massive ego.

I truly wouldn't be surprised to see him on Russian sponsored TV expounding on the "freeing" of the Ukrainian people from the evil American and NATO influences by May. He has no wiggle room left with his new motherland. He went all in with the murdering dictators (Russia and China) and he's now Putin's little windup toy.

He's in a truly horrible position living in a broken nation which is committing war crimes and genocide against a young Democracy. He's lost every last vestige of moral high ground he used to wrap around himself in his attempts to validate his actions.

His ego is no doubt undergoing drastic adjustments even as we speak.

And no wiggle room is right. It will be interesting to see if Putin makes him do high profile anti NATO anti Ukraine propaganda.
