But my takeaway from all of this so far is that the GOP would be more than happy to deny indigent people and others (Gitmo) competent counsel if they don’t fit the GOP mold. That is NOT how the Constitution works.

I think Lindsey Graham is getting constant text messages from Chump, telling him what to say and do. Graham is Chump's mouthpiece on all of these hearings. Whether it's allowed or not ... he's doing it. I don't know, maybe his aide is getting the texts from Chump and showing them to Graham. It's obvious that he's taking dictation from "the boss."
