Im pretty sure thats not even a crime anywhere as long as you disregard state and federal election laws. And its definitely not voter fraud as long as the person voted for Trump. (I read that in a copy of the Constitution I bought in the Mar-a-Lago gift shop last year.)

It coincides with the worldview of Trump and many of the Christian fundamentalists he has allied with. Trump is crooked and corrupt and therefore thinks that everyone else is the same as he is. Similarly, these Christian fundamentalists seem to lack any internal self control, therefore they rail against beastiality obsessively, like "hey my guy, you think about sex with animals WAY WAY too much!"
Republicans project their own desires and actions onto others. They cheat during elections so they either think, but more likely just want others to thing that Democrats also cheat. When you hear about a Democrat getting caught for voter fraud, it is usually a story like the woman who had gone to check things out with the probation department and the voter reg office and was told she was okay, then it turned out she wasn't cleared. With Republicans, it is usually deliberate, like the several Republican politicians or candidates who voted on their dead relative's or ex-wife's ballot, KNOWING it was illegal. Meadows KNOWS better.
