Cleveland Rape Crisis Center sees surge in donations after Browns' trade for Deshaun Watson
Many Cleveland Browns fans are conflicted about the recent acquisition of quarterback Deshaun Watson not because of his talent on the field but due to controversies off the field.
After considering evidence of possible sexual misconduct against him, a Texas grand jury declined to indict Watson. Although the former Houston Texan was not criminally charged on March 11, the quarterback still faces 22 civil lawsuits made by women who allege sexual misconduct during message therapy sessions.
The Cleveland Rape Crisis Center (CRCC) said after the Browns trade that it's disappointed by the decision to add Watson, stating, "The Cleveland community supports survivors of rape and sexual abuse."
CRCC, a center dedicated to support survivors of rape and sexual abuse, has received more than 1,700 donations from donors, many in increments of 22 to represent the 22 lawsuits.

So glad my Seahawks didn't trade for him.
