Re Cruz and his ilk... An Ivy League education signifies nothing

I was a grad student at an Ivy. Most of us grad students were middle class or lower - we got there on a teaching assistantship and worked our butts off. I had to lead labs for the undergrads (chemistry). Most of them could buy and sell me 10 times over - very wealthy families. Some were smart...some were not. Some were protected by mom and dad's money. Some were terrifyingly close to blowing up the lab!

Interesting days ...

It's not the degree or the school. It's the person, the character.

Cruz is a person devoid of character.
