Russia would not attack NATO unless he feels his military is ready for it. This will happen regardless of what NATO does.

That being said, attacking Belarus is pretty crazy. It would make more sense to get involved directly in Ukraine.

If they join the war, many in Belarus will oppose it. There is no reason to change their minds.
