Am I wrong, or are these SCOTUS hearings simply theater?

I feel like no matter what anyone asks, or how Judge Jackson answers, she'll be confirmed with all 50 Democratic senators and maybe one or two Republicans. Just as with basically all recent nominees-- the outcome is already known.

In any case, I'm looking forward to having Justice Jackson on the Court once Justice Breyer retires.
