(24,288 posts)Like the domestic economy, the military has been Potemkinized....a shell of what it might have been, had they not been systematically plundered by Putin and his cronies, the Oligarchs. This could become a bigger fight /internal power struggle and Ukraine becomes a by-stander on the sidelines, watching a new, real Russian civil war begin..

Real - major win for Ukraine and NATO....much to learn about their core tech and operational details that can be effectively countered.
Not real - Soviet planted this with the intent of losing it. A system that doesn't really portray the actual jamming equipment and signal generation capabilities of their field command modules.
