I know it's wrong but...

I know we should not make fun of the completely stupid among us, but good grief these repukes make it easy.
Leningrad Lindsey is a good example of what I mean. His rant during the hearing for Judge Brown was just childish and stupid. And I'm going to continue to make fun of him. And Hawley, he obviously doesn't understand anything but terrorism and doesn't seem too bright either.
Not to brag, but I'm a mere jc grad who worked mostly in factories and I'm smarter than the aforementioned two men who presumably went to college. I actually try to do research and set an example for my child. These guys? Not so much.

Most of them are highly-educated, Ivy League-trained lawyers who know exactly what they are saying, and that it is total bullshit. They are cynically putting out false right-wing talking points to be picked up by Fox and further disseminated to the MAGAt base for the purposes of the next election. If they were merely stupid and ignorant like MTG and Loren Boebert it would be bad enough, but these guys know better and they're saying these things for the most malignant and deceitful purposes. This is a performance, nothing more.

Back during those hearings. I guess he intends to carry this grudge around with him for the rest of his miserable life

When a supposedly well-educated republican enters a profession such as law, medicine or even the military as an officer then leaves that profession to enter politics, I figure they weren't very good at that profession, probably weren't as financially as successful as they thought they should be and figured they would get a lot richer joining Congress and stealing everything they could get their hands on. We saw a bunch of them in action today, putting on a shit show to get their base to reelect them so they can continue their life of crime.

Their hypocrisy doesn't shame them in the least, that's because they are true sociopaths.

YOU DON'T DO IT.

These jackals know it's wrong

AND DO IT
FOR THE LULZ.
where I interpret LULZ as
“LOL derived from others’ suffering”

BECAUSE POLITICS TO THEM IS A CLOWN SHOW, AND PEOPLE LOVE THEIR CLOWNS.

When people stop treating politics as a Punch and Judy show (this is darkly true, to this very day) (1) or for the younger people, Itchy and Scratchy, the more reasonable the "legitimate political discourse"

(1) https://www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-culture/are-punch-and-judy-shows-finally-outdated-10599519/
Are Punch and Judy Shows Finally Outdated?

The show centers on Mr. Punch, a rascally hand puppet whose primary vocation is whacking his saucy, nagging wife, Judy, and various members of the constabulary with a stick.

Glyn Edwards, a self-professed “Punch activist,” calls Mr. Punch the “Lord of Misrule” and says that part of his enduring appeal is that he gets to do what everyone secretly wants to—thumb his nose at authority.
