Russia's largest tank manufacturer may have run out of parts

https://fortune.com/2022/03/22/russian-tank-manufacturer-sanctions-ukraine-war/

Sanctions imposed on Russia to cripple its economy may be starting to hurt its military capabilities.

The country’s primary armored vehicle manufacturer appears to have run out of parts to make and repair tanks, according to a Facebook post by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Citing “available information,” it reported state-owned company Uralvagonzavod, which builds tanks such as the T-72B3, has had to temporarily cease production in Nizhny Tagil.

As other companies run out of parts, they too will be forced to shut down. As more workers lose income from their jobs, the unrest and protests against the war will increase. I feel bad for the Russians who never supported this war or Putin, but they will be paying the price for his deranged actions. If Putin is not kicked out of office one way or another, Russians will soon find themselves standing in bread lines once again.

I hope it happens soon, Russia could use some democracy for a change.

The Ukraine invasion will bring an end to Vladimir Putin’s regime within five years, an aide to the jailed opposition leader Alexei Navalny has told The Independent.

Vladimir Ashurkov, chief executive of Mr Navalny’s Anti-Corruption Foundation, said the unpopularity of the war inside Russia would spark a democratic revolt and hasten the demise of Putin’s rule.
