Um - Senator, youre at the confirmation of Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson.
Do you even know what year this is?
Or are you not able to tell the difference between Justice Amy Coney Barrett and Judge Jackson? Its really not all that easy to get the two mixed up.

(21,563 posts)It is a way of insulting, delegitimizing, and dehumanizing Jackson. Basically saying her name isnt worth his time to get right.
But he is also flustered, in a little panic mode too....old man brain syndrome as well...
Gillis is a fascist bastard.

(38,553 posts)I am growing VERY weary of post titles that give no indication about the subject of the post, no indication that there's no text but merely a link to a video tweet, etc...
It only gets worse when you take the time to click on the post title and you STILL don't have any idea what the post is about.
And I'm beginning to think there should be a running thread for the SCOTUS nomination hearings. That way those that are following along can chime in when something comes up, and those of us who are not watching/sporadically watching/unable to watch.... don't have to navigate through 20 or 30 threads on the GD page, half of which say (to the effect), "THAT was stupid!" without saying what "THAT" refers to.
