(509 posts)Worldometer, as many of the information compilers has been observably compromised by the tinkering that "Official Dashboards" from the various states have inflicted on the data. I think the Million mark was reached and exceeded days or even weeks ago.
On that subject, here's a memorial piece I found for just that number:

Ohio stopped counting new cases and deaths last week.
I checked everyday and noticed last week that Ohio had stopped counting new cases and deaths.
Many states had stopped quite awhile before that.
Sadly there are many people in the U.S. that seem to accept and don't care how many have died.

(509 posts)folks like myself who have a background in working with exponential functions could tell readily from the numbers themselves that they were being doctored. Probably too much information to post here, but suffice to say that things HAD to be worse than reported.

(30,613 posts)At least half of COVID deaths were never reported as such, due to them being MAGATS, or having MAGAT coroners, or MAGAT state agencies.
