They all know that they have been EXPOSED for who they really are and they are angry about it. They are angry at themselves and angry that Trump was their fault and will forever be stitched to their legacies.

They are angry that Putin seems to be unable to take out Ukraine, thus reminding everyone that it was Trump who led the world down this horrific path in Ukraine and they ALL supported him by NOT voting to impeach him and find him guilty.

No amount of temper tantrums at Judge Jackson's hearing will change the honest and accurate picture of who they really are, no matter how it is covered up, ignored, or tolerated. Whether or not Judge Jackson is confirmed by these cretins, we have the receipts from the last six years including those from this hearing.

They know they don't measure up to this fine, woman of noble character and it gives them ED for which there is no blue pill.
My only hope is that ordinary, decent, honest and patriotic Americans GOTV and rid us of those damn spots!

One thing I have learned in recent years is that just because you are right about something does not mean your knowledge is actionable.

There are millions of people that agree with you wholeheartedly and see Trump and the other anti-American pro-Putin Republicans for their true selves.

But simply knowing this does not solve the problem. The reality is that right wing propaganda is powerful and pervasive and that there is at least a 50/50 chance that Trump or his successor will be elected in 2024. An even higher likelihood that the Fascists will take control of Congress in 2022.

If Trump or someone as evil takes office in 2024, he will begin to take out democracy apart, finish the job he started in his first term.

We have to figure out how we are going to prevent that. I'm not sure I have the answer, it seems that many Democrats think this is business as usual.

Nothing is ever their fault, they are always on the right and righteous side, and they are never wrong. They are angry that anyone disagrees with them, they are angry that there are barriers to their fascistic and authoritarian take over, they are angry that there is resistance and that the resistance is (sometimes) succeeding.

To be angry at themselves requires a sense of shame and the ability to be self reflective and honest. They are no more angry at themselves than a 2 year old lying on the ground in a temper tantrum drumming their heels into the ground is angry at themselves. To be angry at themselves would require them to be Charlie Bucket rather than Veruca Salt!

They don't feel that they don't measure up to this woman because they believe just because of the color of her skin and the sexual organs she possesses that she is automatically inferior to her and they are enraged that ANYONE thinks anything different than that.

rank and file but the people in public office either started as narcissistic fascists (Hawley, MTG, etc.) or have been so completely corrupted by power and money that they no longer have that psychological capacity. There is data that strongly suggests that having a lot of power and money changes people's personalities. The "aristocratic mindset" (if you will) is often caused by money and power, not the other way around. For these people the ends justify the means so nothing they do is wrong so long as it is moving them closet to their goal. They MAY become angry at themselves if we manage to turn things around and deal a fatal or near fatal blow to fascism in this country but while they still have a tiny bit of power and think they can move their agenda forward they will never see what they do as wrong, merely temporary setbacks.


Do not underestimate the mind's ability to justify and embrace behaviors which would have, at one time, seemed unthinkable even to the person perpetrating them. Cognitive dissonance argues that, at this point, they are so deep in that even any of them who may have thought they were wrong before have completely flipped their thinking. Cognitive dissonance literally changes what we believe and, in this case for any who might have at one time been angry at themselves, the disconnect between their belief system and the way they are behaving is so extreme that they will have completely changed the narrative such that their current behavior is absolutely acceptable and reasonable.

Now, remove some of them from power completely for a few years (and don't let them watch Faux News) - it might be reversible and they may feel shame and anger, but not now.
