Judge Brown Jackson has had it with their foolishness.

She is now declining to answer Hawley for the four THOUSANDTH time and referring him to her numerous previous answers to the same dead horse beating question.

I hope she hangs in there. Her face is showing what looks like a desire to put her foot all the way up Hawley’s ass.

You say fascism, and people often imagine goose-steppers, screaming skinheads, militia types, and fat malcontents.

But their leadership is almost always clean-cut, well-spoken (in their way), and above all slick.

He made one mistake though: he showed his hand too soon - quite literally.

Cruz accuses him of "filibustering" and starts his crap all over again. It's a good thing I'm not in that room or Cruz would be talking through a mouth full of blood and broken teeth. Of course, I'd be on my way to jail but it would be worth it.

What I don't get is why Hawley and the like get multiple shots at grilling her? He's at it again with his questioning that has nothing to to with what a judge does.

Seems this could happen over one day, two at most.

Cruz, Hawley, Graham, Cotton…not the most admired within the Republican caucus…I think their grandstanding will have the opposite affect…it wouldn’t surprise me is a few more Republican senators vote to confirm because of Cruz’s crap…

but I presume the all-important question is "Do you like beer?" That seemed to be very important in getting a certain justice confirmed a few years back.

No? Is it, "Have you ever tried to get a pedophile elected to the US Senate?"

You can win an election without resorting to these tactics just like you could run social media successfully without such algorithms but both require hard work and listening to people and a commitment to things like honesty and good governance. I think one defense against this rhetoric is to call it out for what it is, a cheap and easy way to get votes, and ask why they can't address real issues.

First thing they should do is to get rid of the "opening statement" by each Senator. Waste of time & just grandstanding. Thank the person for being there and ask your first question.
And they all want to get their soundbite for YouTube or whatever site. Meat for their base.
Quit televising them & some of that would go away.
