They buff their racist and misogynistic cred all at once.

It's like a buy one get one free for them.

Republicanism and their propaganda machine is truly sick.

The roughly 20%: Voters in the middle/moderates/indies/non-political voters who don't follow politics very closely/soft Republicans/folks who sit out elections (but will pull the lever if motivated to do so), are watching. It's their votes that decide elections.

And they're not too likely to remember this by November, if they're even paying attention at all.

The msm will give them 100 distractions and other reasons to vote for republicans between now and then.

Republican senators from red states mostly worry more about getting primaried than losing in the general.

Is it possible that this helps us pick up seats in purple states and have a more reliable majority in the senate? Sure, but more Republican senators don't worry about that unless their own seat is involved.

I hope they know that. I don't understand why they're not shutting it down. Why do they get to sit and berate her for an hour each?

Seems particularly abhorrent considering that she will get confirmed anyway.

I reckon this badgering of a successful black woman will excite more Republicans than it will repulse.

...leave her the fuck alone!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rude, arrogant, childish, self-important bullshit ... for the RW votes and for publicity ... going after a black female who NONE of the Rs could hold a candle to at all, in any way, ever!

Little children, jealous and whining because a black female is far, far better than any one of them! Fuck 'em all and feed 'em peanuts!

but extremism doesn't fly in all states and verbally abusing a woman on national tv can affect races in those states. The ads are writing themselves.

she's being "grilled". With perceptions like that the Repubs don't need any backlash, the msm is doing their work for them. When I worked at a bank my department handled donations from the infamous CITIZENS UNITED and the fundraising letters would make your head explode. It has only gotten worse.
