His fragile ego couldn't handle being stood up to.

(53,759 posts)wanting to be harassed by a cop is a right. Remember those? Bill of Rights, the Constitution and all that.
It's a public street. The cop even said he's not supposed to be there and he could trespass the guy from ever being there again. Doesn't that sound like the Ahmaud Arbery scenario all over again?
Public streets are just that, not just for white people.

(14,176 posts)and the use of force was unnecessary even if the arrest had been legal. Further, the young man is autistic, his lawyer says the sheriff's dept knows that, and the cop threw him to the ground nonetheless.

The department will settle because the deputy fucked up/
