The abusive, racist , angry cop is the one that escalated the situation and introduced the violence.

His fragile ego couldn't handle being stood up to.

If you want facts, first YOU need to acknowledge some.

What you've stated just isn't so.

..as you STILL project your own actions on others, making baseless claims as you try to get folks to ignore the evidence of their own eyes and ears.

You just aren't very good at this, comrade.

wanting to be harassed by a cop is a right. Remember those? Bill of Rights, the Constitution and all that.

It's a public street. The cop even said he's not supposed to be there and he could trespass the guy from ever being there again. Doesn't that sound like the Ahmaud Arbery scenario all over again?

Public streets are just that, not just for white people.

and the use of force was unnecessary even if the arrest had been legal. Further, the young man is autistic, his lawyer says the sheriff's dept knows that, and the cop threw him to the ground nonetheless.

The rest of us saw a violent, abusive, racist cop unnecessarily escalate a situation where he could justify to himself assaulting a young, unarmed black teen he was more than twice the size of.

Well, as usual we can say that refusing a ride from a sheriff's deputy isn't grounds for detention. Or arrest. Or force.

The department will settle because the deputy fucked up/

from many if you don't immediately obey them. Must be hard to be in a relationship with these inflexible a-holes.
