The incompetent bastard posing as Manhattan DA, Alvin Bragg, evidently is incapable of attempting to bring a case to court against Donald Trump. The many individuals who have been bilked out of their life savings, cheated, lied to and swindled deserve for this case to be adjudicated. It is plain to see that Bragg is in way over his head or is corrupt himself.

But if he's corrupt, show the evidence.

(22,037 posts)One cannot go to court without evidence.
Ask Giuliani or Powell.

(7,017 posts)obviously nothing is ever going to court until Republicans are in charge again.

(10,429 posts)he could have just let the people who built the case take it to court and do the work. He didn't have to do it himself.
There may yet be no direct proof, but corruption seems to be the most likely explanation.

(22,037 posts)However, no evidence, no case.
Isn't this the standard that we've been demanding of Giuliani and Powell?

(11,306 posts)when this first came down reporting suggested that there was something less than unanimous sentiment within the office (with the incoming DA of course having by far the biggest, not to mention deciding, vote). But apparently there were others with certain degrees of reservation. I have no idea why Bragg came down on this side of the ledger - but the suggestion that 'corruption' is the only (or most likely) explanation - just doesn't square with what is currently known.

(11,306 posts)is that there wasn't unanimity within the office - even when Vance was at the helm. There was a certain amount of skepticism and pushback, and this fact was not unknown.

(9,998 posts)The fact he's not going to get charged comes as no surprise to many here on DU.
Eventually, those who think DOJ is conducting some top secret investigation, will face reality as well.

(21,337 posts)but when he said he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and no one would care, he was telling the truth.

(35,454 posts)If elected Suozzi says he would get rid of him which, apparently, the Governor has the ability to do. Hocul needs to realize how unhappy people are with BRagg.
