‘It’s a Sh*tshow’: Russian Troops Are Now Turning on Each Other
MADHOUSE
“Even in Chechnya, there was nothing like this,” a soldier told a pal in an intercepted call, and reports emerge of another getting so fed up he ran over his colonel with a tank.

Two Russian soldiers have been caught venting about Putin’s “bullshit” war against Ukraine in an intercepted phone call as devastating losses reportedly led one soldier to drive over his colonel with a tank.

“Basically, it’s a shitshow here, I’ll put it that way,” an unnamed soldier near Mykolaiv in southern Ukraine can be heard telling a colleague in a recording released by Ukraine’s Security Service late Tuesday.

After telling his friend that Ukrainian forces “tore apart” a column of Russian forces sent along with his own unit, he described complete disarray among the Russian military, with 50 percent of the unit suffering from frostbite on their feet.

He said soldiers are complaining about having Kevlar vests that lack the hard-armor panel, but they are ignored.

“‘Comrade General, damn it, I have this situation,’” he recalled troops telling their leader. “And he just says, ‘Son, be strong,’ and then he fucks off. It’s such trash here… our own plane dropped a bomb on us,” he said.

“They couldn’t even send off the 200s here,” he said, using a Russian military term for dead bodies. “They rode with us for five days

Any Russian soldier who willingly gives himself up should be spared. Tried of course at The Hague for War crimes on Putin's orders. The more who give up, the better.

Putin will be pissed of course. But tough shit! He resorts to using Chemical weapons of mass destruction and/or tactical nukes, it is a whole new ballgame with deadly consequences. The whole of Europe cannot sit back and watch this happen. Nor can the US.

Those Congressional Republicans rooting for Putin, they can up and leave the US. And take their MAGA supporters with them. See how long they would last.

Then, I want to see the video edits of the colonel replaced with Putin, Zelensky driving the tank, etc.

This is just disaster central. We lost 58000 over a decade in Vietnam for no good reason. They lost 10,000+ in a month….for no good reason. It’s insane.

Pooty-poot seems to have exceeded that total in half the time.

This is what happens to kleptocracies - nobody in power knows how to do anything but suck up, kick down and steal.

9. It is but the China/Vietnam war of 1978 not the US/Vietnam war of 64-72

The US controlled the skies and maintained supply lines through territorial control and helicopter/plane transport. The US was assisting the native population in the South from domination by the North.

Obviously the US didn't achieve its objectives but when they left in 1972. They left an intact country.

Although most people are not aware of it the People's Republic of China invaded Vietnam in 1978 after the NVA liberated Cambodia from the Khmer Rouge.

PRC's strongest divisions encountered light resistance from Vietnam's volunteer Home Militia and made fast inroads to penetrate 300 miles south into the interior of North Vietnam where the Home Militia met them with their real line of defense and then had its northern brigades reform as per plan.

Cut off from their home the "crack" PRC troops were decimated losing 30,000 troops in 6 months compared to the US's 65,000 in 8 years. The rate of casualties which the US experienced never approached the rate Russia/China experienced from their naked aggression.

He backed the French until they lost and then would not allow the Vietnamese people to hold an election on reunifying the country and to hold national elections.

12. The country would not have been unified with an election and

Hi Chi Minh never would have allowed an open election.

I know, I know you would argue that Ho Chi Minh wasn't really a Marxist-Leninist but if you weren't convinced by the orchestrated murders of tens of thousands middle class farmers in the north then you should be by the complete elimination of the Viet Cong from the Tet Offensive to the political reunification after 1975.

After the Bolsheviks took power in 1919 their first targets were not the Democrats or the supporters of a monarchy but fellow communists, the Mensheviks, who didn't want to form a dictatorship under the cadres of Lenin.

Most people lost their romantic interpretation of Marxist-Leninism when Lenin had agents plant an axe in Trotsky's head in Mexico City where he was living in peace.

Nguyen Sing Cung ( Ho Chi Minh birth name, he had over 50 pseudonym)s) was a conventional reformer when he left Vietnam as a student for France (with a visit to the US).

The chance for a peaceful election did exist at Versailles where Nguyen and other students proposed an independent Vietnam which predated Ho Chi Minh's exposure to Marxist-Leninism. This list opportunity in 1919 is known as a significant lost Wilsonian moment.

Nguyen ended up going to the Soviet Union and fully embracing the Comintern's mission to export Marxist-Leninism. In fact he became the only third world leader to escape Stalin's insane murderous mania.

Nguyen, now Quoc, became Chen and became a Chinese revolutionary now named Ly. He returned to Russia then went to Thailand in 1930 where he started the Communist Party of Thailand AND The Communist Part of Vietnam.

He then returned to China ( now as Quang) as the key Comintern adviser to Mao. He finally returned to Viet Nam in the early 1940s where he is now named To Chi Minh leading the Viet Minh against Japan and Vichy France (working with the OSS)

From then on Ho Chi Minh had a single objective: transforming Vietnam and eventually all of Indochina into a single party Marxist-Leninist government. After 1919 Ho Chi Minh never considered any democratic options for Vietnam.

The proof is that after 1975 Ho's successors systematically decimated the Communists/ Socialists/Democrats in the South and persecuted them relentlessly. I was able to get the details of this persecution by debriefing Truing Nhu Tang, founder of the National Liberation Front (aka Viet Cong) at Galang Refugee Camp in Indonesia. There were more former bankers in the reunited Parliament than Viet Cong.

After 1919 the man who would become No Chi Minh was a committed revolutionary who believed in violent overthrow of the government. To blame Eisenhower for Ho's success is akin to blaming Truman for Mao's.

but should the US be the one to decide which countries should have elections and who should win the election? The US and Russia did the same to Korea at the end of WWII. Korea was not our enemy in WWII, but the US and Russia split Korea in 2 without any input from the Korean people.
