What I don't understand about these abortion vigilante laws

They are crafting these to avoid the state being the enforcer right? So who enforces the lawsuits against people who perform or enable abortions? If I helped a woman to get an abortion (which I absolutely would if I was in a postion to do so) I would tell them to go pound sand. I don't understand how a state can pass a law and then somehow absolve itself of enforcement.

The right winger or group sues you and then you have to pay an attorney $750 per hour to defend you. Then the jury can award from $10k to infinity against you if you lose the lawsuit. If you win the lawsuit then you are out of your attorney fees. Who can afford $750 per hour in attorney fees?

Who's going to enforce you to show up or pay up? Isn't the feature of this that the state isn't involved so they can't be sued for trying to enforce? So who enforces?

are used for enforcement, then the state is involved. I guess we're just going to have to wait to see how it plays out. It's mighty peculiar.

...the law will eventually lose because no one except the principals can have knowledge of an other's health condition treatments.
My opinion.
