(5,384 posts)We have been watching that particular number from a distant place, Australia.
Wife has a number of relatives over there. Some close relatives, like sister, others a bit further removed on the family tree.
So far, no deaths in the tree. But one million Americans weren't so lucky.
See if you can spot a difference -
Deaths per million population:
Australia = 224.
USA = 2,994.
I will let you suggest reasons why the numbers are so different. I have my own theories on that.

And they don't care about all their voters who croaked, because that will be less money they have to pay out for Food Stamps and Medicaid..........
