Punny! 😂

For those who don’t know, the LST, or Landing Ship, Tank, was one of the landing craft we designed (jointly with Britain) in WWII, specifically for amphibious assaults to get multiple tanks, cargo and troops directly onto shore during battle.

While Russian soldiers are stuck in the mud and unable to advance, the Ukraine military is cutting off their naval supplies and reinforcement soldiers.

That sinking doesn’t only mean supplies and personnel lost, it means those at the armies on the ground have lost a meal and bullets.

I hope some of the more sophisticated weapons they’re receiving can take out a few of those Russian warships in the Black Sea.

Ukraine is performing an invaluable service to NATO. Every tank, troop, plane, chopper, and ship they destroy is one we will never face in battle.

This is a service well worth paying for.

It was a 54 year old ship of a class that has been mostly retired.

The supplies it was carrying were probably more valuable than the ship
