it's more than obvious why he is universally despised but I now understand why that sonofabitch allowed Trump to demean his wife, why he would fault his daughters for his Cancun debacle..Judge Jackson's family was there to support her and yet, Cruz, along with the ever loathsome Graham, Hawley, and Cotton proved once again there is no sewer they will not swim in, no venomous poison they will not spew...Jackson's calm poise put those smug assholes to shame...

Part of her brain must have been thinking "I can't believe I have to deal with these craven, moronic assholes in order to become a justice."

But this is America circa 2022. She's not going up against U.S. senators. She's going up against a cancer on our democracy. And handling it beautifully.
