(10,270 posts)If you had to do a formal QnA for your work, what reason would work have to ask your spouse any damn thing in absentia of 100% proof that he were involved?
Again, I take your point, but in addition to such things as Due Process and Right to Privacy, the Supremes are pretty much allowed legally to decide for themselves, which crimes they can commit, and which ones are..shall we say, OPTIONAL, when it comes to any real oversight?
If you wanna make a case against Thomas, you're gonna need IRONCLAD PROOF,...BEFORE you drag his ass in front of Congress to testify, is all I'm sayin...

(82,849 posts)After all, it would be unprecedented for a sitting Supreme Court Justice to be an accessory to insurrection. Justice Thomas should volunteer to appear before the committee, no subpoena necessary.

(5,499 posts)The fact is this: the sitting president, several members of congress and a sitting supreme court justice tried to stage a coup.
At minimum they should all lose their seats and be bared from future elections and appointments.
