Senator Blood is a friend of mine. I started a fundraiser for her on Thursday, March 24. I'm asking my friends, or anyone else that would like to help her campaign, to donate $5 for Senator Blood's race for Governor in Nebraska. Our average donation is $16.38 as of Friday, March 25. The total does not include a $300 check sent by DFW. That was manually entered to the raised total by ActBlue. So the goal tracker is correct. We have gone through several goal amounts. The goal is now $1,500. Please help her if you are able to. The minimum donation is just $1.

1. Well I screwed up....

Carol is NOT unopposed in the May primary. Roy A. Harris of Linwood (population 88) filed to run at the last minute. A quick google shows he has no political background OR organization. A quick google shows a little more about his background.

Yesterday morning I checked ActBlue for any other candidates running for Nebraska Governor. Carol was the only name. Last time I talked to her campaign she was in fact at that time unopposed. I assumed she still was.

I am sorry if you feel I mislead you on Carol being unopposed. I made some calls this morning after I found out he was running. This guy has little chance from what upper party members think.
