We just watched 4 days of hearings where the Retrumplicans argued that Democrats were "threatening the legitimacy" of the Supreme Court, and were causing harm to the Supreme Court's "reputation" and "standing" in the country.

I mean, really, after what the Democrats have done to the Supreme Court, how will they ever get their "esteemed" reputation back?

Seriously, that's the fucking argument Retrumplicans are making.

I have known some folks that lack self-awareness, but MY GOD!!! this is fucking ridiculous.

It's like when my brother's wife caught him coming out of a seedy massage parlor with condoms in this pocket, and he tried to convince her it was her fault.

- The wife of a fucking Supreme Court justice tried to violently overthrow our country in collusion with the Presidents Chief of Staff.

- The only reason we know that, is because the Supreme Court said records had to be turned over. The ONE AND ONLY Supreme Court Justice that voted to keep those records hidden is the husband of the woman whose treason was documented in those records

- A Supreme Court seat was kept vacant for a fucking year. Not even a fucking hearing was held for a Democratic Presidents nominee. This seat was then filled by a conservative hack.

- A Supreme Court Justice, whose son was an officer of the bank that processed loans for the President's company resigned, opening a seat for that president to fill.

- That seat was filled by a fucking frat-boy, straight out of WASP central casting, who had a fucking slobbering, snot slinging mental breakdown about his love for beer.

- After keeping a Democratic President from filling a Supreme Court seat for over a year, when a lioness of the court passed away less than a month before a presidential election, they installed a hand-maiden that had never even seen the inside of a courtroom into that seat mere days before the election.

But, it's the Democrats that are "harming the reputation" of the court.

If this were a just country. If we actually cared about Democracy, we'd be one year into a nationwide General Strike by now.

This Supreme Court was fucking strangled and murdered by Mitch McConnell and the Retrumplicans Party.

Short of Thomas and those Justices appointed by a treasonous agent of Russia resigning, I don't see how the court recovers from the damage done.

1. The republicans always use an offense for their best defense.

As long as I have watched US politics that seems to be how they operate.

2. I have seen evidence that she tried to challenge electoral vote count. Have not seen evidence

that she was involved in "violent overthrow of our country."

If that evidence is available, would like to see it and have it used against her in a criminal trial. Such evidence should also be used against Meadows.

4. Why would they care?

Corruption, raw political power plays, hypocrisy, racism and fascist violence by Retrumplicans is depicted in the media as just "another side" of normal politics.

A bullshit email story though is given 24/7 end of the world coverage.

Seriously, if a fucking 300 foot tsunami was racing toward the East Coast at the same time someone claimed to have found Hunter Bidens laptop, the tsunami story would come up second in a cable news show, or maybe third if Donnie Dipshit farted while playing golf.
