Biden is honest almost to a fault

Sometimes his candor gives the right fodder for thei horse shit on Fox. A case in point is his discussion of food shortages. I have the utmost respect for Joe Biden but I do not want to give those bastards any ammunition.

On the FB White House group are just downright horrible. Calling him Senile, laundering Russian money, and more.

Idiots they are.

Most of the time, it's not an issue, but there have been some times where my mouth blurts it out without my brain thinking through the consequences.

At 58, I'm still working on engaging my brain before my mouth. That's why I could never have been a lawyer!

Always tell the truth, even when it hurts. Lying requires that you lie again which then requires that you keep them all straight in your head which eventually breaks down and reveals the lie.

Telling the truth is also a check on one's actions and words by remembering that telling the truth can hurt if you aren't being honest about what you do in the first place. That's Joe's mindset on honesty, it works best and he shows it.

when he tells us the hard truth---so unlike the guy who thought his job was to be a "cheerleader" and lied about how bad the pandemic was going to be.

Of course it probably cost him politically as well, but we will forever appreciate it.

6. He should be honest. The right wing will just make up talking points if he doesn't say anything

They don’t mind lying and misrepresenting, it doesn’t really matter what he says. Nothing we do is actually ammunition for the right. They just make stuff up and repeat it. We can’t base our actions and what they are going to do

It is a virtue.

If someone tries to paint it as a gaffe or mistake then they are wrong.

Honesty is always the best policy.
