https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2022/03/25/human-trials-to-begin-on-new-male-birth-control-pill-with-99-efficacy-study-shows.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitterNew research shows scientists are one step closer to a male birth control pill with a reported 99 per cent effectiveness and no obvious side effects in early testing.
Researchers presented findings at the American Chemical Societys spring meeting in California on Tuesday, saying that while women have many choices for birth control, mens contraceptive options have always been limited.
Scientists have been trying for decades to develop an effective male oral contraceptive, but there are still no approved pills on the market, said Abdullah Al Noman, a graduate student and researcher on the project at the University of Minnesota. And while there are other options for male birth control available, they come with risk.
Condoms are single-use only and prone to failure, a release on their findings says. In contrast, vasectomy a surgical procedure is considered a permanent form of male sterilization, and can be expensive and isnt always successful.

I can imagine all of the screaming and pouting about the government trying to emasculate them. Everyone knows it is a woman's responsibility if she gets knocked up..... After our second child, I did not pass go before I got clipped so that my wife would not have to take the pill.
