History will consider this time as still a part of the Civil Rights Era

and the history books of the future will put all these old white men and few women who will vote against Judge Ketenji Brown Jackson on the same side as every segregationist from the sixties that share a page in those books. History itself will see their votes, not as driven by partisanship, but by racism. Time will not be kind to any of them.

We are not even close to equality. The trump four year fiasco put the hand writing on the wall for all to see.
Charlottesville happened. It was real. There is no sugar coating the racism that grips this nation. These racist are our neighbors.
I had a coworker who tried to downplay what happened in Charlottesville. When I said they were marching with treasonous confederate flags and nazi flags while chanting nazi songs. He denied it. Which is why I love the internet. I pulled up pictures. He was a former Marine and he never brought up Charlottesville again.
Fox news does great harm to this nation.
Do not let the right downplay Charlottesville or 1/6.
